HEF Media created The Hatchet in one of its early bids at online publishing. And though it’s no longer functioning, the site is a great example of clean, white design with a strong brand presence (à la The New York Times).
With this project, we started with a base design by the wonderful Chris Pearson, tweaked the design, and extended the site with featured content, blogs, and more. In the end we were able to turn a standard blog into a custom publishing powerhouse.
